About Us

Who we Are ?

FINNE Nutrition + Regulatory services was established by Lead consultant Dr. Yvonne Finnegan in 2012. She has a BSc. (Hons) in Nutrition & Dietetics and a PhD and is a CORU registered Dietitian. Yvonne has been working in the food industry as a nutritionist and regulatory manager for the past 25 years and has a wide breadth of experience having worked with local and international food companies (Danone, Glanbia, Tate &Lyle (Ingredients), CJ Cheilejedang, Valeofoods, Lucozade Ribena Suntory, Herbalife, GSK, Almarai (Saudi Arabia), as well as SME’s and start-ups). Prior to that she worked in the UK Government (Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food) before joining academia at the University of Reading and is a long standing committee member of Nutritionists in Industry (NII) and a member of The Nutrition Society.

She is a visiting lecturer to the Technological University of Dublin and the Technological University of the Shannon, upskilling students on food regulation and reformulation and enjoys sharing her experience in encouraging students to consider a career in the food industry.
